Jup is an iOS application designed to streamline collaborative music selection, enabling users to suggest songs directly to the host's active playlist.

The 'host' can opt to play their playlist on either Apple Music or Spotify. Jup integrates seamlessly with the selected music service's player, requiring an active subscription from the host. Through Bluetooth connectivity, the host can invite nearby participants to join the playlist.

Participants have the ability to contribute to the playlist by searching and adding songs from Apple Music or Spotify catalogs, even without a subscription. Upon logging into their music service account, participants can access personal playlists to enrich the collaborative music experience.

In Jup, participants can influence the song selection through a 'voting' system, with the most voted tracks moving to the top of the queue. The host retains control by activating 'host control', pausing voting and allowing rearrangement of the playlist when necessary.
